Navigate Expeditions is committed to providing nature-based accessible tours that are accessible to all people with needs. We take into account access needs including mobility, vision, hearing and cognitive dimensions of access to function independently and with equity and dignity.
We recognise accessibility is an important factor when deciding on suitable activities, we bear this in mind and will provide accessibility information with each experience that we offer. Guests are most welcome to contact us to discuss their accessibility needs.
“We had a wonderful Kayak / paddle along the Bermagui River. Our guide David was friendly, knowledgeable and great with our two kids (one with disability) Morning tea and home made chocolate brownies were delicious and they even catered for GF /DF! The length was perfect and we loved learning about local wildlife. Would happily recommend.” Tamara Oppen Google Review April 2023
While some experiences are more suitable for accessible travel than others, we are always open to ways we can do better and learning how we can make our experiences more inclusive. We want to help you enjoy connecting with nature and ensuring that you have a fantastic experience. We welcome your enquiry to see how we can support you with any access needs that you might have.
Please review the Physical Activity Rating and relevant accessible information for each tour. Our most accessible tour options include kayaking tours or personalised private walking and sightseeing tours.
Some of our guides are trained and experienced in assisting individuals with special needs. Our guides are first aid qualified, have working with children and working with vulnerable people checks. All tour guides participate in ongoing professional development.
