Sam Bright brings a wealth of experience to Navigate Expeditions, with an outdoor career spanning decades. His journey began on a 1970s mountain farm where he honed his skills mustering sheep and cattle, and training jackaroos and jillaroos.
Sam’s passion for outdoor education ignited in 1995 with Outward Bound Australia, followed by stints at Coastlife and the renowned National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) from 2000.
He is a skilled and certified instructor in hiking, canoeing, rafting, sea kayaking, sailing, and ropes, with extensive knowledge of wilderness first aid and safety. Adding to his impressive skillset, Sam also serves his community as an active firefighter.
