Sapphire Coast Tour – Trip Notes

Internet and Phone Coverage

There is phone coverage and Internet via 4G in most of the populated areas on the Sapphire Coast. However there is very little phone coverage at our accommodation, Tanja Lagoon Camp or Green Cape Lighthouse and during some of our experiences in the National Park. If you plan to have no coverage, you will not be disappointed. Most guests enjoy the opportunity to really disconnect and be ‘off-line’. There is wi-fi and telstra mobile signal in reception at Tanja Lagoon Camp.

Consideration of others

Noise: We ask that guests keep noise to a minimum while at camp and during the experiences so as not to disturb other guests and give us the best chance of viewing the wildlife.

Privacy: While at camp, we ask that guests don’t walk in front of other guests decks and instead walk behind or use the bush track several meters in front of the tent.

7 Leave no trace principles: Tanja Lagoon Camp and Navigate Expeditions abide by the 7 leave no trace principles we ask guests make themselves familiar with these principles when travelling with us and staying at Tanja Lagoon Camp.

Respectful to other guests: Be considerate to other group members, you can do this by rotating seats in the vehicles, being kind, considerate and respectful to others values and belief systems. We are all here to have enjoyable experiences.
