Mountain Bike Hire Port of Eden

Explore Eden at your own pace with our convenient mountain bike hire, ideally situated at the Port of Eden. Perfect for cruise ship guests and adventurers alike, our bikes provide a wonderful opportunity for self-guided exploration on two wheels. Take a leisurely ride to Aslings Beach, Lake Cuarlo, take in the views from Rotary Lookout. Or more vigorous ride out at Gravity Eden Mountain Bike Park. Our range of bikes cater to all levels of adventure.

Stay active and work off those cruise ship indulgences while enjoying the scenic beauty of Eden. We offer flexible options including a 3-hour hire or a full-day experience. Each hire comes equipped with a helmet, bike lock, pump, and spare tube, ensuring you have everything you need for a safe and enjoyable journey. 

Our bikes are 2018 models Merida Big Seven 100 Small, Big Nine 100 Medium or Large.

We are passionate about encouraging everyone to spend time in nature and embracing an active lifestyle. We love showcasing some of our favourite locations for these activities, and we can’t wait for you to experience them firsthand.

Pricing

A minimum of 6 bikes needs to be pre-booked for our service. Should we not reach this minimum, we will inform you prior to your arrival.

  • 3 hours $60 AUD per bike
  • 6 hours $90 AUD per bike

Delivery Locations

We will be conveniently located in the Snug Cove car park at the Port of Eden, just a 350m walk from where your cruise ship docks.

Activity Rating

Guests should have prior bike riding experience and possess a moderate level of fitness.

Equipment Size Guide

Bike: Small for body height of 157 – 173 cm , Medium 167 – 183 cm and Large 177 – 190 cm.

Hemet: Small 52 – 57 cm , Medium 57 – 60 cm and Large 60 – 64 cm

Essential Information
  • A minimum of 6 bikes needs to be pre-booked for our service. Should we not reach this minimum, we will inform you prior to your arrival.
  • If the ship doesn’t dock, we understand the disappointment and will process a refund for you. However, please note that certain non-recoverable costs such as catering and staff time already allocated may be deducted.
  • You agree to Navigate Expeditions charging your credit card for all costs associated with repair of our equipment that is damaged beyond general wear and tear and/or for the recovery/ replacement of equipment that isn’t returned by the hirer in a timely manner
  • The hirer is liable for all debt recovery costs born by Navigate Expeditions associated with the recovery or repair of our equipment that you hire, including the administrative and legal costs of recovery, any debt overdue by 28 days or more will be reported to debt reporting agencies
  • You agree to pay a late fee of $66 per item, per hour or part thereof for all equipment returned later than the agreed time
  • In order to avoid costs associated with late fees or replacement you must ensure the security of our equipment throughout your hire timeframe
  • If we cancel a bike hire due to operational requirements we will notify you as soon as possible and offer you a full refund
  • If you cancel; more than 7 days before the tour, we may retain 10% of the amount paid as an administration fee; more than 48 hours, but less than 7 days, we may retain 50% of the total amount paid; less than 48 hrs prior to the tour or if you do not appear for the tour, we may retain 100% of the total amount paid
  • Guests are required to sign an indemnity and waiver release
  • Guests are required to wear a helmet when cycling in NSW, read more about road rules for cyclists 
  • Guests must adhere to the Leave No Trace principles and mountain bike code of conduct
