Launch from the historic sailing club into a pristine wetland haven. As you glide across calm, glassy waters, you’ll encounter black swans and pelicans. Keep watch along the sandy dunes at dusk, where wild kangaroos frequently emerge to graze by the water’s edge. (

After soaking in the sunset colors, step ashore for an intimate lakeside supper. Indulge in a generous platter of premium, locally crafted Tilba cheeses, crisp crackers, and fresh seasonal fruit, perfectly complemented by a selection of refreshing juices and comforting, warming winter drinks.

As darkness falls, your kayak transforms into an underwater spotlight. Illuminate a hidden world of darting prawns, shimmering fish, and jellyfish drifting like glowing lanterns beneath your paddle, all while a magnificent blanket of stars scatters across the pristine night sky overhead.

• Our expert kayak guides are able to assist everybody in entering and exiting the kayaks safely and with dignity
• Trained assistance animals and pets are not permitted inside the kayaks for safety reasons
• Knowledge of swimming is not a requirement, but we do encourage guests who are unable to swim to let us know in the comments section of the booking form. This will help us ensure extra safety measures are in place for those individuals.
• We use single, double, or triple kayaks for our tours. Please indicate your preference on our booking form. For children aged 10 and under, we recommend the stability and shared experience of a double kayak with an accompanying adult.
• Public drop toilets are located at the meeting location
• Please bring a full water bottle, as there are no water taps at the meeting location.
• If your group has specific requirements or needs, we kindly ask that you contact us in advance. This enables us to discuss your requirements in detail, and make necessary arrangements to ensure your kayaking experience is both enjoyable and comfortable.
• Our kayak fleet includes single and double kayaks equipped with outrigger stabilising floats for enhanced stability. If you are interested in this type of kayak experience or if we can assist with meeting NDIS goals, please contact us.

• Outside of peak summer holidays, we require a minimum of 4 guests for Bega River Kayak Tours. If booking for fewer than 4, please contact us to check availability, or book and pay for 4 guests to guarantee your departure. This ensures the tour can operate. Alternatively, you might consider booking our Pambula River Kayaking Tour, which is more popular and more likely to go ahead.
• A 10% surcharge will be applied on NSW Public Holidays to help offset the increased wage expenses incurred on these days.
• If we cancel a tour due to weather or operational requirements we will notify you as soon as possible and offer you a full refund or alternative activity.
• If you cancel; more than 7 days before the tour, we may retain 10% of the amount paid as an administration fee; more than 48 hours, but less than 7 days, we may retain 50% of the total amount paid; less than 48 hrs prior to the tour or if you do not appear for the tour, we may retain 100% of the total amount paid.

Had an amazing kayak paddle with Jess and Jess and a small group down the Bega River. Mogareeka is picture perfect - the river, the bridge, the birdlife and the sea-mist hanging on the water. Saw sea-eagles, egret, honeyeaters, wallaby and kangaroo at close range. A peaceful beautiful setting. Navigate Expeditions were just fantastic and looked after everything. We had a great morning kayaking on Pambula River and Kerrie our guide was outstanding. She was very personable and very knowledgeable regarding the region and its history wild life and flora. She gave very good instructions about the kayaks and offered assistance as required. We had perfect weather and the morning tea was also very good. Just one area for improvement: I sat in water for most of the trip and this needs to be addressed so guests are kept dry. I am very happy we booked a Light to Light transfer with Navigate Expeditions. The fast and helpful communication throughout was exemplary. They were flexible when we needed to change dates and times and were more than accommodating, which relieved us of any stress. On the day, Arthur was on time for pick-up and shared his knowledge of the area while driving to the start of the walk. Jess is the most helpful local guide! I wanted to take my 1yr old and dad kayaking. Jess came up with the perfect experience for a gentle and adventurous paddle for 3 generations. We enjoyed being immersed in nature - water, land, big sky above, sea eagle having a play with black cockatoos, cheeky seal, pelicans and fish in Wallagoot Lake.
