Tathra is renowned for its world-class, community-built mountain bike trail network, offering over 52 kilometers of pure singletrack. Our entry-level hardtail mountain bikes are perfectly suited for exploring the green (beginner) and blue (intermediate) trails winding through the beautiful coastal forest. Whether you want to try out famous rolling tracks like The Bundadung, explore the family-friendly loops near the country club, or just cruise the fire trails, there is plenty of terrain to match your riding confidence.
In addition to the main Tathra MTB Trails, our Merida mountain bikes are ideal for navigating Tathra’s well-maintained bike paths, quiet roads, local fire trails, and entry-level singletrack. These bikes are designed for recreational riding, meaning you can comfortably immerse yourself in the sights of Mimosa Rocks or Bournda National Parks. Consequently, you’ll have the freedom to spot local wildlife and admire the diverse flora of our coastal forests from the saddle.
To make your adventure as seamless as possible, we operate a mobile delivery service. Specifically, we can deliver your mountain bikes directly to your accommodation in Tathra, Kalaru, or Wallagoot, allowing you to start your ride right from your front door. Please note a $50 delivery fee applies to single-day hires (free for multi-day bookings).
Full Day Hire: $60 per bike.

Included: Every hire comes with a Merida mountain bike, safety helmet, bike lock, and a spare tube kit.
Support Local: We are proud to support our community; therefore, $1 from every booking is donated to the Bega Local Aboriginal Land Council.

1-Day Hire Delivery: A $50 delivery fee applies to all 1-day hires. This will be charged to your original payment method upon confirmation.
Easy Drop-off & Pick-up: We offer a contactless delivery service. We will deliver your bike, lock it up, and send you a text message once it’s ready. You don’t need to be present for delivery or collection—simply lock the bike in the same spot when you’re finished and send us a quick message to let us know.
Guests should have prior bike riding experience and possess a moderate level of fitness.
