Your journey begins on Corunna Lake, a jewel of the Batemans Marine Park. Guided by local experts, you’ll paddle a gentle 3.5 km across pristine waters fringed by spotted gum forests and sandy shores. Mt Gulaga, a place of deep cultural significance, rises in the distance, keeping watch as you glide along. Keep your eyes peeled for sea eagles soaring above or jellyfish drifting silently beneath your kayak. This is an ecosystem in motion, and you’re right in the heart of it.

And then—your paddle flows into indulgence. Arriving at Tilba Valley Winery, just steps from the water, you’ll settle in for a tasting of three handcrafted wines paired with a generous platter of artisan cheeses. The connection is clear: the same landscapes you’ve just explored nurture the vines and dairy herds that make these award-winning flavours possible.

Once your tasting concludes, the day is yours. Linger on the deck with another glass, enjoy a leisurely lunch overlooking the vines, or simply savour the glow of a morning spent immersed in nature and finished with the tastes of Tilba.

Tour logistics are simple: start at Tilba Valley Winery at 8:30 AM, shuttle to the lake for your paddle, and arrive back at the winery by 10:45 AM—perfectly timed for your tasting experience at 11:00 AM.

• Our expert kayak guides are able to assist everybody in entering and exiting the kayaks safely and with dignity
• Trained assistance animals and pets are not permitted inside the kayaks for safety reasons
• Knowledge of swimming is not a requirement, but we do encourage guests who are unable to swim to let us know in the comments section of the booking form. This will help us ensure extra safety measures are in place for those individuals.
• We use single, double, or triple kayaks for our tours. Please indicate your preference on our booking form. For children aged 10 and under, we recommend the stability and shared experience of a double kayak with an accompanying adult.
• Public drop toilets are located at the meeting location
• Please bring a full water bottle, as there are no water taps at the meeting location.
• If your group has specific requirements or needs, we kindly ask that you contact us in advance. This enables us to discuss your requirements in detail, and make necessary arrangements to ensure your kayaking experience is both enjoyable and comfortable.
• Our kayak fleet includes single and double kayaks equipped with outrigger stabilising floats for enhanced stability. If you are interested in this type of kayak experience or if we can assist with meeting NDIS goals, please contact us.

• We require a minimum of 4 guests for Tilba Kayak and Wine Tour. If booking for fewer than 4, please contact us to check availability, or book and pay for 4 guests to guarantee your departure. This ensures the tour can operate. Alternatively, you might consider booking our Pambula River Kayaking Tour, which is more popular and more likely to go ahead.
• A 10% surcharge will be applied on NSW Public Holidays to help offset the increased wage expenses incurred on these days.
• If we cancel a tour due to weather or operational requirements we will notify you as soon as possible and offer you a full refund or alternative activity.

• Cancellation by guest
  The guest may cancel the Service at any time, by email or text message. The following will
  apply:
   If the cancellation is more than 48 hours prior to the tour commencement, an administration
  fee of 25% of the booking cost will be deducted, and the balance refunded (type 1
  cancellation);
   If the cancellation is less than 48 hours but more than 4 hours prior to the tour
  commencement, an administration fee of 50% of the booking cost will be deducted, and the
  balance refunded (type 2 cancellation);
   If the cancellation is less than 4 hours prior to the tour commencement, if the guest is a no
  show, a cancellation fee of 100% of the booking cost will be deducted (type 3 cancellation).
  The administration fee is to compensate us for the administration cost of processing the booking
  and making the tour arrangements. The cancellation fee covers the cost of our tour staff and
  catering in addition to the administration fee
  If your ship doesn’t dock, we understand the disappointment and will process a refund for
  you. We will treat the cancellation as a type 2 cancellation.
  Cancellation by us
  Navigate Expeditions may cancel the Service at any time by email or text message, for any one
  of the following reasons:
   If the number of guests booked to participate in the Services does not meet the minimum
  number;
   If extreme weather conditions such as heavy rainfall, extreme heat, strong winds, typhoons,
  sudden temperature shifts and fog are predicted or experienced;
   If a state or national lockdown exists, such as for an epidemic or security reasons, preventing
  the guest’s travel to the place of departure of the tour;
  Then Navigate Expeditions will provide a full refund of the booking cost in full satisfaction of all
  claims the guest may have arising from the cancellation.
  Cancellation by a third-party provider
  If a third-party provider cancels all or part of their services, Navigate Expeditions may provide an
  alternative activity, offer a private experience or provide a full refund of all monies paid, as it
  may decide.
  Cancellation due to a Force Majeure Event
  If a tour is cancelled prior to the tour commencement due to a Force Majeure Event, Navigate
  Expeditions will treat the cancellation as if it cancelled the tour.
  Force Majeure Event includes but is not limited to: ‘acts of God’, war; civil commotion, riot;
  blockade or embargo, fire, explosion, breakdown, union dispute, earthquake, epidemic,
  pandemic or other health emergency, faults or errors in navigation or management of this or of
  any other Vessel, seizure of the Vessel under legal process, any abrupt or unexpected increase
  in the cost of fuel or shortage of fuel, flood, windstorm or other extreme weather event, lack or failure of courses of supply, passage of any law, order, proclamation, regulation, ordinance,
  demand, requisition or requirement or any other act of any government authority, beyond the
  reasonable control of the parties, whether or not foreseeable, which would make it dangerous or
  not viable for a trip to commence or continue.
